Headhunters is quite honestly one of my favorite albums. But I never really questioned the ridiculous cover art. Pointy font, posterized photos, Herbie wearing an electronic African mask thing... I just knew it was something crazy when I pulled double copies out of my parent's record collection. The design work is done by Victor Moscoso, a psychadelic poster/comic artist who appears to still be doing work.
